This Customs & Duties Disclaimer explains our policies regarding customs clearance, applicable duties and taxes, and customer responsibilities when shipping internationally.
1. General Disclaimer
- All international shipments are subject to customs inspection and clearance in the destination country.
- Customs authorities have sole discretion in determining whether a shipment is cleared, delayed, or seized.
- Aajrocket Global has no control over customs decisions, procedures, or timelines.
- Delivery estimates provided by Aajrocket Global do not include time required for customs clearance.
2. Duties, Taxes & Levies
- Duties, taxes, and other import/export fees are determined by the destination country’s customs authorities and are beyond our control.
- Such charges may include (but are not limited to):
- Import duties
- Value Added Tax (VAT) or Goods & Services Tax (GST)
- Excise duties
- Customs clearance charges
- Brokerage fees
- These charges are the sole responsibility of the consignee (recipient), unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3. Customer Responsibilities
By booking a shipment with Aajrocket Global, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete shipment details, including declared value, HS codes, and product descriptions.
- Submit all necessary documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, permits, or licenses if required).
- Pay all duties, taxes, levies, or clearance charges imposed by customs.
- Comply with the import/export regulations of both the origin and destination country.
- Indemnify Aajrocket Global against any penalties, fines, or legal actions resulting from inaccurate or false declarations.
4. Non-Refundable Charges
- Customs duties, VAT, GST, or any other government levies are strictly non-refundable, even if the shipment is refused, returned, or abandoned.
- Customers remain liable for return shipping charges and any additional customs fees in case of undelivered or rejected shipments.
5. Delays Due to Customs
- Customs clearance times vary by country and may cause shipment delays.
- Aajrocket Global is not responsible for delays, additional charges, or confiscation of goods resulting from:
- Customs inspections
- Import/export restrictions
- Missing or incorrect documentation
- Regulatory compliance issues
6. Restricted & Prohibited Goods
- Customers must ensure their shipments do not contain items restricted or prohibited under international trade laws or the regulations of the destination country.
- Aajrocket Global reserves the right to reject shipments that violate customs rules.
7. Liability Limitation
- Aajrocket Global’s liability for customs-related issues is strictly limited to the handling and submission of customer-provided documentation.
- We do not guarantee customs clearance approval and are not liable for confiscated, delayed, or returned shipments due to customs decisions.
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from customs issues (such as lost profits, penalties, or reputational damage) are not covered.
8. Recommendations
To minimize customs-related issues, we recommend customers:
- Verify import restrictions of the destination country before shipping.
- Declare shipments accurately with clear product descriptions.
- Engage customs brokers or consultants for complex shipments.
- Consider purchasing insurance for high-value goods.
